Wedding Gazebo – Architectural & Colour-Change Lighting

Area 3A delivers a full architectural and decorative re-lighting of the Wedding Gazebo — one of the most photographed and commercially important features of the estate. The scheme upgrades every lighting element using premium architectural fittings, concealed cabling and highly flexible control options designed specifically for weddings, ceremonies and evening events.

The design begins with two replacement feature pendants (PC sum), providing soft, warm-white illumination ideal for daytime and twilight ceremonies. Eight architectural uplighters are recessed into the floor to lift the posts and internal structure, creating sculpted vertical light that enhances the building’s octagonal form. Along the approach path, eight inground uplighters provide a gentle guiding effect that draws guests towards the gazebo during evening weddings, drinks receptions and photographic sessions.

In the Five-Star version, a concealed RGBW crown ring is installed in the upper octagon, enabling subtle warm-white ceremony lighting, dramatic photography presets and full-colour evening effects for parties and celebrations. This makes the gazebo the only RGBW-capable focal point on the estate, providing a highly marketable feature for wedding clients.

The scheme includes two Vanguard Heritage Bollards, step-level safety lighting and three discreet roof-level power points for floristry, fairy lights and seasonal styling with no visible wiring. All wiring is fully concealed, and power is distributed from the Area 3 backbone via 2.5mm SWA cabling. Programming is handled through the Spearhead controller, with three dedicated scenes: Ceremony, Photography and Party. Together, these upgrades create a flexible, premium feature that enhances wedding photography, evening ambience and the estate’s commercial value.
