The Brief:
The client wanted to enhance their outdoor living area with a modern pagoda while creating striking evening ambience through tree uplighting. The goal was to balance functional outdoor lighting for entertaining with atmospheric highlights that complemented the contemporary design.
Project Details:
Our design focused on creating a layered and flexible lighting scheme. Warm, low-energy LED uplights were positioned to accentuate the trees around the pagoda, bringing depth, drama, and texture to the garden at night. The contemporary pagoda was softly illuminated from above and beneath, highlighting its clean lines and providing a welcoming glow for evening entertaining.
Practicality was also a priority. Outdoor power points were discreetly integrated to allow lighting of future garden features or seasonal enhancements. Each LED fitting was chosen for durability, energy efficiency, and a sleek aesthetic that complements the contemporary design of the garden.
The installation was carried out by our Part P–compliant team, who carefully concealed cabling to preserve the natural beauty of planting and hard landscaping. The finished result is a visually striking space that is as functional as it is atmospheric, perfect for entertaining or quiet evening relaxation.

We specified modern LEDs throughout, delivering crisp, high-quality illumination while consuming minimal power — just pennies per night to run. This ensures long-lasting, reliable performance with very low maintenance, keeping the garden eco-friendly and cost-effective. By combining energy-efficient LEDs with expert lighting design, the space now looks stunning after dark while remaining economical to operate.
