Description of Project
This scheme uses the CorDuo Mac II low-voltage cable system to illuminate each stained-glass panel with sensitivity and precision. Every recess carries a horizontal twin-wire span with four miniature spot heads, scaled down to remain visually light while providing excellent control over beam direction. The warm-white LED lamps reveal the depth, pattern and texture within the historic glass, bringing clarity to the colours and leadwork without overwhelming the stairwell. All fixings are kept discreet and installed through mortar joints to protect the building fabric. A single transformer delivers safe 12V operation, ensuring low heat and long-term reliability. The result is a refined, sympathetic lighting treatment that enhances a significant architectural feature.

All transformers and terminations are concealed, and additional commissioning time ensures each panel is balanced for brightness and clarity. The result is a refined, elegant focal point that lifts the front elevation without overwhelming the architectural character.
