The right-hand wing provides a complementary architectural counterbalance to the left octagonal form, presenting a more linear, orangery-style façade that completes the symmetry of Easthampstead Park’s main elevation. This zone features stone-framed bays, recessed window sections and decorative upper-ledges that benefit from thoughtful, warm-white architectural lighting. The aim of the design is to enhance the building’s proportion and create a visually consistent frontage that aligns perfectly with the central entrance (Zone A) and the left-hand wing (Zone B).
Architectural uplighters are positioned beneath each primary bay to create subtle, even elevation lighting, revealing the vertical structure of the façade without over-illuminating the windows. Carefully selected beam angles ensure that the orangery glazing benefits from soft peripheral illumination rather than direct light, maintaining comfort for internal users. Additional accent lighting lifts key stone elements to ensure this zone reads confidently within the wider composition of the building.
All lighting in this area is delivered in warm-white 2700K to match the rest of the estate palette, ensuring consistent tone and sympathetic presentation. Low-voltage systems are deployed where appropriate to maximise safety, reliability and long-term adaptability. Cabling and fixings are installed using fully reversible, heritage-safe methods to protect the façade. The scheme operates through the central SpearPoint façade controller, ensuring balanced dimming, coordinated scene-setting and synchronised presentation with Zones A, B and D. The LV extension future-proofs the system for potential wedding garden expansion, allowing straightforward addition of further fittings if required. Full SpearPoint dimmable integration ensures smooth evening presentation and effortless seasonal adaptability.
These refinements deliver a fuller, elegant reveal of the orangery elevation while retaining all heritage-safe methods and the original warm-white intent.
