A warm-white architectural bollard scheme defining the 35-metre ceremonial pathway to the Wedding Gazebo. The Five-Star option uses ten Vanguard heritage bollards for a grand, estate-grade presentation; the Four-Star option uses eight NiteLED Dome bollards for a refined, cost-efficient interpretation. All cabling, trenching and ducts are installed discreetly and future-proofed for Area 4.

Description of Project
This zone covers the key ceremonial route leading from the main gardens to the Wedding Gazebo. It is the moment when the bridal party walks in, photographs are taken and guests first experience the wedding garden as a lit space. The proposed lighting scheme introduces a carefully spaced run of warm-white architectural bollards to define the full 35-metre pathway, creating a romantic “lit aisle” that is both safe and visually striking.
In the five-star scheme, ten Vanguard heritage bollards are used to create a classic, estate-grade presentation in keeping with Easthampstead Park’s architecture. In the four-star scheme, eight NiteLED Dome bollards provide a softer, contemporary look while retaining the same warm-white palette. Both options use 240V wiring with 1.5mm SWA cabling and IP-rated terminations.
A 60-metre trench is installed for SWA cable routing along the path, with ducts placed so that future Area 4 lighting can be added without further excavation. All bollards are integrated into the existing Area 3 Spearhead Controller at the gazebo, enabling unified scene-setting, dimming and coordination with the gazebo (3A) and herbaceous borders (3B).

FIVE STAR PROPOSAL
Our highest-specification scheme using premium architectural fittings
The five-star scheme delivers a truly premium arrival experience along the pathway to the Wedding Gazebo. Ten Vanguard heritage bollards, evenly spaced along the 35-metre route, create a beautifully defined warm-white aisle that perfectly frames the bridal approach. Their traditional forms and soft optical control feel completely in keeping with Easthampstead Park’s character, reinforcing the sense of a country-house estate rather than a generic venue.
The lighting levels are carefully judged: gentle enough to flatter skin tones and wedding dresses in photographs, yet bright enough to ensure guests, photographers and staff can move with confidence after dark. The continuous run of bollards draws the eye directly to the gazebo, strengthening its role as the focal point of the Wedding Garden and making the path itself part of the “wow factor” on the day.
The installation also looks after the future. A 60-metre trench and concealed ducting are installed now, so Area 4 lighting can be added later without further disruption. All wiring is hidden, and the system is integrated into the existing Area 3 Spearhead Controller, meaning the events team can dial in ceremony, dusk and late-evening scenes at the touch of a button. This is an estate-grade solution that enhances guest experience, photography and long-term asset value.
NOTES
Noted differences in costs for this quotation between 5 Star Proposal & 8-12-25 Meeting
Both schemes share the same underlying infrastructure: 60 metres of trenching, concealed ducting for Area 4, 100 metres of SWA cabling and full integration into the Area 3 Spearhead Controller. The difference lies in the density, character and visual impact of the bollards themselves.
The five-star specification uses ten Vanguard heritage bollards to create a grand, continuous, estate-style illuminated aisle. This produces a more formal, symmetrical and visually powerful approach, strongly emphasising the gazebo as the focal point and providing maximum photographic drama. It is particularly suited to high-end wedding packages and evening-heavy use of the garden.
The four-star specification uses eight NiteLED Dome bollards, delivering a cleaner, contemporary and more understated appearance at a lower capital cost. The route remains safely and attractively lit, but with a lighter touch and less architectural presence. Both options preserve the same warm-white tone and future-proofed cabling route; the choice is primarily between a more prestigious, heritage-led statement and a simpler, modern, value-conscious solution.
DEFINED INSTALL
Our cost efficient-specification scheme using premium architectural fittings
The Four-Star scheme provides a beautifully simple warm-white pathway treatment using eight NiteLED Dome bollards spaced evenly along the 35-metre route. The lighting is soft, contemporary and understated, offering a refined approach that still delivers clarity, safety and charm during evening ceremonies and receptions.
The reduced bollard count creates a lighter visual rhythm while retaining a flattering warm-white glow for photography and guest movement. All cabling is hidden, with a full 60-metre trench and future-proofed ducting installed exactly as per the Five-Star scheme. Integration with the Area 3 Spearhead Controller ensures that ceremony and evening scenes remain perfectly coordinated with the gazebo and herbaceous borders.
This is an elegant, cost-conscious pathway upgrade that remains fully compatible with future estate enhancements.
Although less dense and less overtly “grand” than the Vanguard-based scheme, the four-star option still gives a clear lit route for the bridal party and guests, significantly improving safety and ambience compared with an unlit path. The fittings remain discreet in the daytime yet create a clear, attractive line of light in the evening.
As with the five-star version, the four-star scheme includes 60 metres of trenching, SWA cabling and concealed ducting to prepare for Area 4 expansion. It connects seamlessly into the existing Area 3 Spearhead Controller, allowing dimming and scene-setting to work in harmony with the gazebo and herbaceous borders. This makes it a strong choice where budget needs to be carefully managed while preserving quality, future-proofing and consistency across the wedding garden.

INSTALLATION & POWER NOTES
The scheme includes approximately 60 metres of trenching along the pathway, installed to agreed depth and reinstated to match existing finishes. A 1.5mm 3-core SWA cable run of around 100 metres provides 240V feeds to each bollard, with SWA glands and junctions located discreetly within suitable points. Concealed ducts are installed at strategic positions to allow future Area 4 lighting to connect without further groundworks. All control is routed back to the existing Area 3 Spearhead Controller at the gazebo.
