Description of Project
The herbaceous borders surrounding the Wedding Gazebo are one of the most important visual settings for ceremonies, photography and evening receptions. This scheme uses three professionally curated herbaceous lighting kits to give height, structure and depth to the planting beds without visible glare. Architectural spike spots lift feature shrubs and vertical planting elements, while low-level post lights provide gentle, even foreground illumination and pathway definition.
The warm-white palette (2700K–3000K) has been selected specifically for wedding photography, offering a flattering, soft tonal balance that complements skin tones, floristry and the gazebo lighting. All cabling is concealed within the borders, with two SWA-fed power points installed neatly on the rear wall to serve the full system.
Every element integrates seamlessly with the Area 3 Spearhead controller, allowing the hotel’s events team to select ceremony, dusk ambience or full reception levels with ease. The resulting scheme produces a rich, elegant planting presentation that looks as good in photographs as it does in real life.

Each 5★ kit includes four Castor 9 uplighters and four low-level post lights, producing a sculpted blend of height, depth and soft foreground illumination. The warm-white optical quality has been chosen specifically for photography, ensuring the planting beds read beautifully on camera while remaining understated and elegant for guests.
All cabling is concealed, and the two SWA feeds provide long-term resilience. Integrated control through the Area 3 Spearhead system gives the hotel complete freedom to set ceremony, dusk or reception modes at the touch of a button.

All LV cabling runs through concealed paths within the planting to avoid visual impact. Junction points are soil-level and IP-rated. All control routes back through the existing Area 3 Spearhead Controller at the gazebo, allowing Zone B to operate independently or as part of whole-garden lighting scenes.
