Forecourt Island & Heritage Lanterns

The forecourt island marks the first defined architectural moment for guests arriving at Easthampstead Park, positioned between the sweeping driveway and the grand entrance. This scheme introduces a traditional Victorian triple-head lamp post at the centre of the island and two single Victorian lamp posts flanking the main entrance, creating a balanced and heritage-appropriate frontage that mirrors the architectural rhythm of the building.

Warm-white lantern heads provide comfortable visibility for vehicles and pedestrians while enhancing the estate’s classical character. Their height, spacing and beam angles have been selected to ensure consistent illumination across the forecourt without overshadowing the façade uplighting in Zones A–D.

The design also includes dedicated flagpole uplighting, using Flagpole Kit A (three-fittings) in the 5-Star scheme and Flagpole Kit B (two-fittings) in the 4-Star scheme. This creates a refined vertical accent that lifts the flag and upper structure, grounding it visually within the arrival sequence.

All cabling and trenching follow PC-sum allowances, using fully reversible methods suitable for a heritage setting. Low-voltage distribution supports both lanterns and future seasonal features such as Christmas trees or temporary decorative displays. The entire system integrates with the SpearPoint controller for synchronised dimming, unified warm-white tone and coordinated evening presentation across the full frontage.
