Entrance Tree-Line & Architectural Illumination

Area 2A provides the first landscape-led lighting treatment beyond the immediate forecourt, forming the transition from the architectural frontage into the broader estate drive. This opening stretch features mature trees, grassed verges and boundary planting that define the movement of guests as they leave or approach the hotel.

The lighting scheme introduces a warm-white, naturalistic reveal of the tree canopies, using two architectural uplighting kits (16 fittings total) positioned to emphasise height, structure and form. LightPro Castor 9 uplighters deliver a controlled, soft-edged beam that lifts the trunks and lower canopy without creating glare along the driveway. The fittings are arranged to produce alternating pools of light, ensuring the tree-line reads as intentional yet organic.

Three 6-metre flagpoles sit at the start of this zone. In the 5-Star scheme, these are illuminated using Flagpole Kit A (three-fitting recessed uplighting); in the 4-Star version, Flagpole Kit B provides a streamlined two-fitting option. Together, these elements create a refined, welcoming extension to the Area 1 frontage.

All systems run at warm-white 2700K–3000K and are powered from a dedicated Area 2 transformer hub. Low-voltage distribution ensures safe, reliable operation, with all works undertaken using heritage-safe, reversible installation methods. Integration into the SpearPoint control platform ensures balanced dimming profiles and fully coordinated evening scenes with the forecourt lanterns and building façade.
