Driveway Bollard Replacement

Area 2B addresses the first main stretch of the driveway beyond the entrance tree-line, where guests begin to experience the broader landscape and grounds of Easthampstead Park. Existing bollards in this section are aging, inconsistent in tone, and uneven in distribution. The new lighting design introduces a refined, warm-white bollard scheme positioned discreetly behind the estate fencing, creating a safe and elegant line of guidance light while respecting the hotel’s heritage character.

Classic louvred black architectural bollards provide controlled downward illumination, eliminating glare and preventing light spill into the surrounding planting. Their placement and spacing are calculated to give smooth, coherent illumination, improving visibility for drivers and supporting pedestrian safety during evening arrivals.

All bollards are powered via a new 2.5mm SWA feed with LV radials branching to each unit. Trenching is completed along the fence line with full reinstatement according to PC allowances. Each bollard is mounted on solid foundations with integrated maintenance access. Warm-white 2700K–3000K output ensures uniformity with the tree-line lighting of Zone 2A and the façade treatments of Area 1.

The entire scheme integrates into the SpearPoint control network, delivering balanced dimming and coordinated scenes across the forecourt lanterns, tree uplights and architectural façade. This zone provides a clean, dependable and visually aligned continuation of the hotel’s entrance experience.
