The Architectural Crown adds a warm-white halo to the main house, illuminating the parapet, chimneys and upper stonework with ultra-narrow uplighters to create Easthampstead Park’s signature evening identity. The effect is subtle, revealing heritage form, supporting wedding photography, and visually tying Areas 1–6 back to the house. Cabling is hidden along the parapet with colour-matched brackets. A dedicated Spearhead control group offers scenes from Night Identity to Grand Arrival and seasonal modes, defining the estate after dark.

Description of Project
The main house is the architectural heart of Easthampstead Park, and Area 7 introduces a sophisticated lighting composition designed to honour and reveal its classical proportions. Ultra-narrow warm-white architectural uplighters are placed discreetly along the parapet line, behind balustrades, and beside chimney bases. These fittings graze the stonework gently, producing a warm halo visible from the driveway, terrace, Pond Garden, Lower Park and event spaces.
Every bracket is colour-matched to maintain the heritage appearance in daylight. Cabling is concealed within parapet voids and architectural lines, ensuring the installation remains visually unobtrusive. The crown lighting provides a controlled vertical lift that unifies the whole estate — all paths, terraces, gardens, trees and façades read naturally back to this calm architectural glow.
A dedicated Spearhead grouping delivers independent circuits for the chimneys, gables, parapet segments and architectural features. This enables bespoke programming for weddings, photography, corporate arrivals, evening hospitality and subtle late-night ambience. Area 7 completes the estate masterplan, providing the hotel with a premium and memorable night-time presence.

FIVE STAR PROPOSAL
Our highest-specification scheme using premium architectural fittings
The Five-Star Crown scheme is the most complete architectural lighting treatment available for the main house. Ultra-narrow warm-white uplighters graze the full parapet, chimneys and upper stone details, creating a soft halo that highlights Easthampstead Park’s classical form without glare.
Hardware is almost invisible by day thanks to colour-matched brackets and concealed cabling, preserving the building’s heritage integrity. Multi-circuit control enables fine-tuned scenes for weddings, grand arrivals, golden-hour photography and late-night ambience. Full night-time commissioning ensures every beam is balanced with Areas 1–6, forming a unified and elegant night identity across the estate.
NOTES
Noted differences in costs for this quotation between 5 Star Proposal & 8-12-25 Meeting
Both schemes illuminate the parapet and establish the architectural crown, but the Five-Star version provides deeper refinement, full parapet concealment, higher-grade optics and multi-circuit control. It unlocks bespoke night scenes and advanced architectural balancing.
The Four-Star scheme provides an elegant, cost-efficient uplift using simplified optics, visible bracketry and a single shared circuit. It enhances the façade effectively while keeping capital cost lower. Both integrate with the estate-wide Spearhead system.
DEFINED INSTALL
Our cost efficient-specification scheme using premium architectural fittings
The Defined Star Crown Lighting scheme provides a simplified yet elegant upgrade to the main house façade. Warm-white architectural uplighters are installed along the key front parapet sections to create a soft evening glow, enhancing the building’s presence without the full multi-circuit control or premium concealment of the Five Star option. Brackets and housings remain discreet but may be partially visible from close range.
Cabling follows a straightforward parapet route, feeding the uplighters through a shared Spearhead control circuit. This gives the hotel a unified warm-white façade illumination that aligns with the estate’s overall palette but without the advanced control or individual chimney/gable circuits included in the premium option.
The Four Star specification includes full night-time commissioning and scene balancing to ensure the light level feels gentle, elegant and coherent with Areas 1–6. This scheme represents a strong, cost-aligned enhancement to the building’s evening identity, delivering architectural uplift while maintaining budget flexibility.
