This scheme reimagines the front elevation of Bowwater Lodge, covering the driveway, central turning circle, and principal façade. All existing front lighting will be fully replaced with a cohesive warm-white Lightpro system, delivering elegant, welcoming illumination, improved night time presence, and a clear, well considered arrival experience that complements the architecture beautifully.

The works we recommend for Bowwater Lodge comprise a fully integrated external lighting scheme to the front elevation, incorporating the entrance approach, driveway, central turning circle, and the complete architectural frontage of the property. The proposal includes extending lighting beyond the entrance gates to ensure the approach remains clearly legible when viewed from the house, reinforcing spatial depth and safe circulation. Warm-white luminaires will be used throughout to provide consistent colour temperature and visual continuity. Targeted uplighting will be applied to the bay trees, existing cypress trees, and selected new tree planting to enhance the Mediterranean character of the entrance landscape. Low-level planting and tree lighting will be carefully positioned to control glare and maintain visual comfort, while restrained façade lighting will articulate the building’s form and key architectural elements. Collectively, the scheme delivers a balanced, coherent, and high-quality night-time environment appropriate to Bowwater Lodge.

To achieve the proposed front-of-house lighting scheme at Bowwater Lodge, we will deliver a fully coordinated low-voltage garden lighting system designed around control, consistency, and long-term reliability. The works begin with the installation of a centrally located transformer and distribution network, allowing the scheme to be balanced electrically and zoned logically across the entrance approach, driveway, turning circle, and front elevation.
Warm-white luminaires will be selected throughout to ensure a consistent colour temperature and a refined, welcoming appearance. Carefully positioned ground-mounted uplights will be used to accentuate bay trees, cypress trees, and new feature planting, providing vertical structure and depth while maintaining low glare levels. Beam angles and output levels will be selected to model the planting forms rather than flood the landscape with light.
Low-level lighting along the driveway and circulation routes will subtly guide movement without visual clutter, while restrained façade lighting will be applied to articulate architectural proportions and key features of the house. All fittings will be aimed, adjusted, and commissioned on site at night to ensure balance and precision. A warm white light palette is used throughout the scheme to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere that complements planting, masonry and timber finishes. This colour temperature reveals texture and depth while remaining subtle and comfortable to the eye. Installation will utilise existing distributed 240-volt mains supplies wherever possible, each fully tested, certified and upgraded where required to ensure compliance and long-term reliability. From these points, professional low-voltage transformer systems will be integrated to create balanced, zoned garden circuits. Radio-transmitted switching will be incorporated, allowing remote control and flexible scene management without intrusive rewiring. All low-voltage cabling will be installed within flexible protective conduit wherever practicable, reducing risk from rodents, squirrels or accidental garden disturbance. Any installation or component-related issues arising within this period will be addressed promptly and professionally at no additional cost.
The first year also includes a maintenance plan to protect the long-term quality of the installation. This covers routine system checks, minor alignment adjustments and confirmation that all fittings, connections and controls are operating correctly, helping to maintain consistent lighting levels as the garden matures.
After the initial 12 months, clients may opt for an annual maintenance plan. This can include inspections, lamp replacement, cleaning of fittings, repairs and ongoing optimisation, ensuring the lighting scheme continues to perform reliably year after year.

Payment Terms
Payment - A 50% deposit is required two weeks prior to the agreed start date to secure materials, labour and scheduling. The remaining balance is payable within seven days of completion.
Programme - Work will begin on the agreed date, subject to receipt of the deposit and site readiness. Programme dates may be adjusted where delays occur outside our control.
Variations - Any changes to the agreed scope will be discussed and confirmed in writing before work proceeds.
Warranty - All installations include a 12-month warranty covering workmanship and supplied equipment unless stated as longer.
Ownership - All materials remain the property of Garden Lighting Solutions by Eagle & Spear until payment is received in full.

Should additional fittings be required — or if fewer are needed — adjustments will be made using the clearly stated unit rates within this quotation.
