This garden lighting scheme has been carefully designed to create a warm, calm and visually layered night-time environment, enhancing the garden’s structure, planting and architecture while remaining subtle and unobtrusive.
Using the professional LightPro 12-volt lighting system, the brief is to deliver a fully automated, remote-controlled installation that feels effortless to use yet is technically robust beneath the surface. Lighting is introduced in layers — trees, planting, architectural features and pathways — to create depth, balance and atmosphere rather than brightness.
A key requirement of the design is future flexibility. All fittings are relocatable, additional lights can be added without replacing the transformer, and lighting scenes can be adjusted as planting matures or the garden layout evolves. This ensures the system continues to perform and adapt over many years.
The entire installation is built to a professional standard, with protected cabling, disciplined routing and discreet placement, ensuring long-term reliability and a clean daytime appearance. The result is a refined, elegant lighting scheme that enhances the garden every evening while remaining simple, intuitive and dependable to live with.

This lighting plan has been carefully developed to balance atmosphere, practicality and long-term flexibility, using a coordinated palette of high-quality, low-voltage fittings suited to each area of the garden. The selected spike-mounted spotlights are used to gently model planting, borders and trees, delivering soft, directional illumination that enhances depth without glare. Their adjustable heads allow precise aiming, ensuring foliage and features are highlighted naturally rather than over-lit.
Discreet uplighters are positioned close to structural elements and feature planting to introduce vertical interest, drawing the eye upwards and giving the garden a sense of scale after dark. These fittings are chosen specifically for their controlled beam angles and warm white output, creating a consistent visual language across the scheme. Wall-mounted fittings near the house and outdoor living areas provide functional light where needed, while remaining visually sympathetic to the architecture.
All fittings are connected via a centrally located transformer and low-voltage cabling, ensuring efficiency, safety and future adaptability. The system has been designed so individual fittings or zones can be added, adjusted or repositioned over time as the garden matures. A warm white light palette is used throughout the scheme to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere that complements planting, masonry and timber finishes. This colour temperature reveals texture and depth while remaining subtle and comfortable to the eye. All fittings within the scheme are designed for exterior use with robust ingress protection. The Polaris wall light is rated IP44, suitable for sheltered wall positions. Most garden spotlights and bollards are IP65, providing strong protection against dust and water jets. In-ground uplighters are typically IP67, allowing installation in paving or soil where temporary water immersion may occur.

Installation & Power Notes
Set Up Details
The lighting system will be installed using the professional 12-volt LightPro platform, connected to the existing external power supply. The transformer will be positioned discreetly and configured with an integrated dusk sensor, programmable time periods and remote control operation, providing automatic daily operation with manual override when required.
All main frame cabling will be protected within 20 mm flexible conduit to provide long-term durability and protection from ground movement and wildlife. Individual lighting appliance cables will be run in 16 mm split conduit, ensuring flexibility for future adjustment while maintaining full mechanical protection. Cable routes will be planned and installed adjacent to walls wherever possible, with lighting feeds run perpendicular through garden areas to maintain clarity, protection and ease of future servicing.
All fittings will be installed, aligned and commissioned to optimise beam control and minimise glare. On completion, the system will be fully tested, programmed and demonstrated, ensuring reliable operation, intuitive control and long-term performance.

Cable routes and conduit protection have been deliberately planned to allow future extensions or alterations with minimal disruption. Lighting scenes, operating times and levels can be adjusted seasonally or for events via the control system, ensuring the scheme remains flexible, relevant and effective for many years. This approach protects the initial investment while allowing the lighting to evolve naturally alongside the garden.
Warranties & Optional
Maintenances Plan
All lighting installations by Garden Lighting Solutions by Eagle & Spear include a comprehensive 12-month warranty covering fittings and workmanship, providing assurance that the system will perform as designed. Any installation or component-related issues arising within this period will be addressed promptly and professionally at no additional cost.
The first year also includes a maintenance plan to protect the long-term quality of the installation. This covers routine system checks, minor alignment adjustments and confirmation that all fittings, connections and controls are operating correctly, helping to maintain consistent lighting levels as the garden matures.
After the initial 12 months, clients may opt for an annual maintenance plan. This can include inspections, lamp replacement, cleaning of fittings, repairs and ongoing optimisation, ensuring the lighting scheme continues to perform reliably year after year.

Payment Terms
Payment - A 50% deposit is required two weeks prior to the agreed start date to secure materials, labour and scheduling. The remaining balance is payable within seven days of completion.
Programme - Work will begin on the agreed date, subject to receipt of the deposit and site readiness. Programme dates may be adjusted where delays occur outside our control.
Variations - Any changes to the agreed scope will be discussed and confirmed in writing before work proceeds.
Warranty - All installations include a 12-month warranty covering workmanship and supplied equipment unless stated as longer.
Ownership - All materials remain the property of Garden Lighting Solutions by Eagle & Spear until payment is received in full.

Should additional fittings be required — or if fewer are needed — adjustments will be made using the clearly stated unit rates within this quotation.
We believe in transparent, fair pricing and open communication at every stage. Our intention is not simply to install a lighting scheme, but to build a long-term external lighting relationship — maintaining, adjusting and evolving the system as the garden matures.
